Bird in Hand, Bromley

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bird in Hand

Detached pub, now hidden away in suburbia but close to the south-eastern part of Bromley Common. Opened out inside to leave a rather gloomy L-shaped layout, but given a much lighter single-storey extension at the back (for what might once have been a dining room?). A covered patio seating area can be found beyond this, together with a side beer garden with wooden benches. Sadly, nothing doing from a pair of handpumps, so made do with an overpriced bottled London Pride (£5.80). A pleasant welcome, and nice enough in its own way, but missing one vital ingredient!
