This was our final stop of the night. The pub does not open until 4pm on weekdays. So, we'd had to leave it until last.

Situated in the attractive Old Town of Hemel, it is a former Charles Wells pub which was serving Charlie Wells Legacy, alongside Weston's Rosie's Pig Rhubarb cider.

The pub has been much altered inside and lacks atmosphere. There is a small front bar and a larger room to the rear, which is mostly devoid of character.

Charles Wells house so there was Bombardier plus a nice Mauldon's Suffolk Pride at £3.10. Small bar at front with seating areas either side. Larget bar at the back with a separate counter and confortable seating. Small TV, beer garden. Accomodation available.
