Ended up here on a Sunday afternoon due to a diversion caused by the WSL/Knowl Hill rail bridge being closed. Anyway this one is almost a restaurant (most seats booked/reserved) but there were three ales on: Abbot (couldn’t finish), Cottage (OKish) and Brakspear Ordinary. Nothing of particular note inside. We sat in the front garden which faces a cricket pitch and it seemed like a nice summer’s spot. I couldn’t imagine a revisit for a beer, sadly. Too foody and poor ale quality given the (supposed) high Sunday turnover.
