Another interesting backstreet pub, perhaps gone a bit trendy but still quite nice. There is one long room with the bar at the front running to a small patio at the back, traditionally furnished and with a fair bit of woodwork. Beers from Wadsworths; quality seemed good.

King Street Tavern is a Wadworth's house with 4 of their own ales on, plus a guest when I visited. The food is fairly barbecue inspired (and not cheap, either). I visited on a sunny afternoon, when the sunlight was streaming in at one end of the pub, giving the room a great atmosphere. It's not a bad option if you're in this part of town.

A beautifully tiled Backstreet pub , somewhat modernised inside but retaining a pub feel. Three beers from Wadworth, 6X, Horizon and Swordfish plus guests Revolutions SOLA and Roosters Yankee. Decent.
