After taking our sun for some trampolining nearby, the Cleveland Bay was our first stop in Hampshire on what was becoming a wet Saturday at the end of July.
It's a Wadworth pub tucked away on a modern housing development. There's an emphasis on food and families. But there are also a couple of real ales - 6X & Horizon. A few were drinking outside when we arrived. But then the heavens opened and they soon came indoors.
Fairly average pub with a typical pubco feeling.

Great family friendly pub (dog friendly too!). Nice outdoor area with under cover seating...always good! The garden also has a kids play area.
Kids can have half portion of the food on the menu and the menu also has healthy options...good news for the waistline.
Good Wadworth ales of course, they also have a nice selection of hot drinks too so good for the drivers and lunchtimes.
All in all I'd recommend it - nice beer selection for dads, good food offering and fun play area for kids. Lovely summer drinking spot if you're in the area!
It's under new management too, so old stories about the old landlord should be ignored.
