Was a big place but now trades as a small redecorated self-styled micropub. No piped music and no customers when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. It’s situated on a main road so I’m not sure how many locals can actually get to this without driving. Of interest insider are the hunting-themed decals on the walls, apparently the landlady does them herself. Three ales on; St Austell Trewlany, Otter Bright, Severn Vale Nibley (very good nick) plus three ciders. Service was friendly but I wonder how long this place can survive if our visit was reflective of its wider week.
