Quite a plain interior with a skittle alley. 5 real ales.

A semi-backstreet local, situated as it is just off a crossroads on the ring road, this has been modernised with bright lights and laminate floor removing whatever character this pub would have had. The small bar is tucked up against the left-hand wall and offered three Arkells ales and Donnington's Cotswold Gold along with Gold Label, Newcastle Brown and Hooch in the fridge, which briefly made me think I had travelled back in time to the mid-90s. Good-natured locals and landlord and my half of Arkells Hoperation IPA, came in at a bargain £1.60. Good, but not great.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Adam & Eve
Basic side-street local, with a 'T'-shaped layout including an unusual open skittle alley. Limited semi-modern furniture. Small rear beer garden. An Arkells house with five handpumps, three of which were dispensing their own beers (including Waimea, £3.10) and two those from the Donnington Brewery. Old fashioned, in a good way, and worth seeking out if in the area.
