We visited this pub having not been to it for several years. There is some charm to the inside with lots of beams, although they have been painted gloss black. The last time we visited it was a bit shabby, and it has not improved. Greene King IPA at £3.20 a pint is not acceptable. As we left and walked across the small patio area at the rear, we were bid a fond farewell by the barmaid's snarling lapdog sinking its teeth into my trouser leg. You will not be surprised to hear that we will not be visiting again, and do not encourage anyone else to. I have rated it at 1, as 0, (or minus,) are not available.

This is a very authentic country pub.The food is home cooked and well presented. The landlords are very friendly. They have entertainment on a Friday night and the pub appears to have no trouble.I love this pub and wish it was my local!
