Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Horse Inn
Very attractive pub in the centre of this quiet village, with the sign painted on the roof tiles. The large south-facing windows must usually be a blessing, but on a scorching September day, everywhere very hot, both inside and out on the front picnic benches. Beer garden to rear. Light but plainly decorated U-shaped layout, with the bar on one side and a dining area on the other. Harvey's, Long Man's Rising Giant and Lakedown Sussex Pale (£4.60).

The White Horse Inn is located in the small village of Bodle Street Green, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Located on a small roundabout, I saw two vehicles during my 30 minute visit, and one was a brewery truck that had come to restock the pub’s cellar. The wooden floored interior is U-shaped with a large round table in the window to the right of the central entrance and more seating up the right-hand side of the pub. On the right-hand wall is a burner and against the rear wall is a stack of logs. In the centre of the pub is an L-shaped bar counter that faces the entrance and a fireplace that sits next to a piano on the left-hand wall. On the rear wall is a dartboard. Open mic acoustics are held here every Tuesday evening, note that the pub is closed on Mondays and closes early at 16:00 on Sundays. There are a couple of picnic tables out the front and there is a car park next to the village hall just to the south.
Available on keg were Stella, Corona and Stowford Press cider alongside Camden Hells and Beavertown’s Neck Oil and Bones Lager. The three hand pumps were drawing Harvey’s Best, Long Man Brewery’s Rising Giant and Lakedown Brewing’s Sussex Pale. The service was very friendly, but the location of this pub dictates that I’ll probably never visit again.
