A back-street boozer as described by others below. It has gaming machines and TV showing live sports. The staff were friendly, but the entitled, boorish tourist families were very tiresome, as were their feral offspring. Food was cheap and plentiful, though a few idiotic grockles still complained that the steaks were not right. Dogs are not allowed in, a pity given that they would be better behaved than the children. Two ales on, Directors in excellent condition and Bombardier, which we didn’t hang around to taste. OK but not the best Weymouth has to offer.

Little pub with a massive long corridor to the side of the bar.Locals pub.long wait for the barman to appear but he did eventually and said he was very busy and only had two hands.Quick check along the bar told me that was the correct number even for the locals.Three dull(to me)Marstons beers on cask but a superb Banks mild on keg at £2.90 a pint.

The Wellington is an L shaped pub with a dartboard around to the left of the bar. There was a small plasma screen showing muted Olympic coverage and some loud dance music was playing during my recent Thursday evening visit.
The bar is stocked with standard draught alongside Bank’s Mild Draught and Thatchers Gold. The three hand pumps were drawing Wychwood’s Hobgoblin alongside Ringwood’s Best and Fortyniner. Food is served during the day and the mains on the menu came in around the £7 mark.
I found the service to be friendly, but unfortunately some of the drunken locals left a lot to be desired. If I was passing during the afternoon I would check to see who was propping up the bar before entering. The music was a little loud for my liking so I would avoid during the evening.
