Seriously modernised under its new owners and now with accomodation. Still just Taylors beers on the three pulls, Landlord, Boltmaker and Knowle Spring, usual tosh on two horseshoes but at least there was Salt Alpacalyse on keg. Modern separate table... [more>]

A functional Spoons in a large modern building, a bit characterless perhaps and heavily populated with diners. It loses a point however as the bar person suggested Doom Bar when asked if there were any dark beers on!
