Staying at the nearby Bedford Swan, we ate at this Mock Tudor-fronted pub overlooking the Ouse. More focussed on diners than drinkers, although a semi-division seems to be those in front of the bar drink, and those to right and beyond the bar dine. J... [more>]

Rather basic locals type of place, seating is standard and not overly comfortable. Probably not somewhere you'd go out of your way for, but beer choice is not so standard and a lot more interesting and great to see
