Edge, Gillingham

The Edge is a bar on Gillingham High Street that was empty on my recent midweek evening visit apart from a couple of students who were playing on the pool table. This was surprising as my visit coincided with Halloween, which the residents of Gillingham seem to embrace, and this bar’s peers were fairly busy. The barmaid was watching Holly Oaks, but she came to the bar and served me quickly enough and I chose one of the bog standard lagers that line the small bar. There is a jukebox that was off and there is some covered outside seating out the back. I thought that this place was very disappointing and probably best avoided, especially at the weekend.
