We selected this bar as a meeting place for a large group. Unfortunately I turned up with a University branded rugby style top. The management was not happy with this item of clothing on display on the premesis. Appeals for hospitality fell on deaf ears. Very kindly, the gathering were allowed to finish drinks that were already ordered, but if we wanted any more in my presence we would have to leave. Unsurprisingly, no more drinks or food were ordered, and we all left, never to return. As for the bar itself, it looked clean. Cannot comment on the beer or food as I was refused service. I saw somebody having a burger which looked OK. I suppose the bottom line is that there are plenty of other bars in Bournemouth. This one did not appear to have a special reason to visit it. If you are a large group there is a risk that a member will wear a sports style top so probably best to meet elsewhere.
