Roxy Ball Room, York

Fairly exhuberant bar in a new build, with clubby type decor it is dark and noisy over two floors, I chose the upper floor. An L shaped bar dominates with a selection from 16 keg taps of nothing too exciting. Obviously there is a pizza kitchen, less expected were the darts, a 5 lane 10 pin bowling alley and a couple of rooms where you can enjoy private karaoke. There’s pool tables and more games on the lower floor but I didn’t check it out being 30 years too old for the place.
