Newly opened Wetherspoon outlet, with all the usual features but quite nicely done and it benefits from having plenty of window space at the front. One unusual feature is the single small table on the narrow mezzanine leading to the toilets (which still had handwritten paper-label signs on my visit). Good choice of cask ales from the two banks of six handpumps: Cosmic, Super Nova and Milky Way from BHB (with another clip hiding behind an 'Available soon' label), Lymestone Ein Stein, Byatt's All day Foreign Extra Stout (£2.89), Jaipur and the usual Abbot, Doom Bar and Ruddles.
