Rum & Fizz, Cardiff

Visited 27/01/25 No cask but rather an ok small keg range of Guinness, Aspall cider, Staro and Jute session IPA from Salt. This is a cosy venue opposite its gin-based cousin on the opposite side of the arcade. Long narrow venue with the bar counter on the left-hand wall in the middle of the venue. Pretty shabby chic and the lighting is what you would describe as subdued here. Mixture of tall tables with stools in the windows along the arcade with otherwise plenty of armchairs and small sofas. The venue was surprisingly busy on my early evening visit on a Monday suggesting that cosy interiors attract punters despite the upmarket slant to the drinks and hence price list here. Had visited the Gin based sibling a while ago before taking notes of places visited and saw it was one of the few unphoto'ed venues in Cardiff Centre so corrected that omission and took the opportunity to add its sibling!
