Small wine bar that I hadn’t considered adding but in passing I noticed they had two beers from Lewes brewery Abyss on tap so already worthy of inclusion above the other venues I have dragged myself to today. The venue is a small room downstairs with the bar against the left hand wall as you walk in. Glass fronted with some pleasant stained glass panels above the large windows either side of the door. Probably enough tables for 24 seated at square or rectangular tables. Some seating on stools to the left of the door in front of the bar and some high stools at the bar. More table based seating of similar type upstairs. The two Abyss quaffs were Super Fuzz and their Table Beer. Stuck with the former as fancied something a bit more substantial! Have rated this place as a 5 based on its beer offering. Two decent beers from a decent brewery but not enough choice to make it anything else. Another one that is at the classy end of the average spectrum for sure on my opinion.
