Waterintobeer is a tile floored craft beer shop with a wooden makeshift counter that supported a canteen of mulled cider alongside a draught beer contraption that was pouring Das Ist Ein Lagerbier and a very nice People Money Space Time from Verdant Brewery. The larger table in the right-hand window was taken by a group of young people on bottles, so I sat at a thin high table in front of the counter in the left-hand window where I also enjoyed a free bowl of popcorn. Noting a host of snacks in the wall to the left of the counter I went for a bag of snacking pickles, which I wish I hadn’t because they were rank. The rear part of the room has fridges and shelves full of beer stock, as you’d expect in a craft beer shop. The toilet is at the rear through the stock room. I found the owner to be very polite, and I would use this place on the odd occasion if I lived locally, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.
