Missing Link Brewing Tap Room, East Grinstead

Farm-based brewery with a modern taproom featuring a few small tables and barstool in the counter / shop area, a larger slightly raised dining room (serviced from a food van in the yard) and a few outdoor tables. Ten craft beers in a range of styles from a hooped fount beside the minimalist bar-back, all with themed names such as my Bonobo hazy pale (£6.00).

It's another craft brewery taproom and we're back on the farm! This one's a bit of a surprise, with a very smart barn conversion across the yard from the brewery, which contains a dozen or so tables with benches. 10 keg taps behind the bar serve up what must be the full range. And what is the range, you may wonder? Well, it's a baker's half-dozen IPA / Pale Ale varieties, plus a pilsner, a coffee porter and an apple cider (!). So, your standard modern craft keg, then, but done well, and not too outrageously priced - I paid £3.75 & £4.00 for my 2/3rds of beers with monkey-themed names. There's a series of food trucks visiting on rotation for your food needs. In the unlikely event that you fancy a wander (or a drive) in the West Sussex countryside followed by a few craft ales, why not give Missing Link a go?
