Rowells Drinking Emporium, Nottingham

An elongated, rectangular 'drinking emporium', certainly larger than most micro-pubs but with something of that ethos. Semi-traditional furniture and an eclectic mix of decorative features inside, with further tables out front and in the side alley. Six interesting cask ales on offer, all served by gravity from a cool room to the left of the counter, including my England's Dreaming from Acorn (£4.50).
