Bust micro pub split into 2 areas, bar on the top right. Seems ok and beer was well kept

Another micropub that I've been wanting to visit for some time. Whilst this is a decent addition to Hoylake's drinking scene, I was not as impressed as I'd hoped. The pub has recently extended into a nextdoor premises. The original micropub occupying the right-hand side has a bar towards the rear, with a bottle shop just beyond. Both the old and new rooms are quite narrow, giving it all a very cramped feel. 4 real ales are generally available. These were Big Bog Welsh Pale Ale, Mobberley Route 97, Liverpool Brewing Liverpool Pale & Peerless Oatmeal Stout. There was no real cider on sale. Craft beers were Axvex Glashow Resonance, Salt Citra & North South Divide, Turning Point/Pomona Island Inner City Sumo & Glen Affric I Can't Believe It's Notella. A keg cider was Lilley's Star Gazer.
