This already has light, semi-modern look but I was advised that that it was closing in a couple of days for a four-month refit. This also explained why the cask ales were surprisingly unavailable from the pair on handpumps on the counter, as the stock was being used up in readiness. Made do with a quick half of the Hazy IPA (£2.85), one of two Outland branded Badger craft beers (with the other being a stronger West Coast IPA).
