The Shipham Inn, Winscombe

Attractive, prominent pub in the centre of the village. At one time it was a row of three cottages but now they've been knocked in to one and made a decent sized pub. Interior is on the whole quite modern, and not what you'd call cosy, but it was pleasant enough and had a real fire. There's a good menu, and the food we had was decent, although perhaps a bit more resturant like than one should expect in a pub. Staff were friendly and chatty. Beers were Potholer and Butcombe; ciders were Thatcher's Gold and Thatcher's Dry.
