The Old Bike Store, Worthing

A shop conversion from an actual bike shop to what is a self proclaimed Micropub, It seemed a little upmarket and manufactured to adhere to my definitions as such but what was not in doubt was the beer quality,just two cask beers were on, both from Vibrant Forest and both spot on at a reasonable £4.00 a pint, up to four casks can be available along with up to eight craft keg offerings. A decent place with very good beer.

2 cask, but 8 keg micropub. Money has clearly been spent on the tiled back bar & floor, the room stretching a fair way back, but all this space was attracting just a couple of us on a Saturday lunchtime. The other punter was a curious local, so maybe there's hope for larger crowds in the future. As it was, the Langham ale was discounted to shift when I was in. There's no shortage of micropubs in Worthing and its suburbs, but this one's worth a look-in if you're passing by.
