Union Inn, Plympton, Plymouth

A traditional pub that has been kept clean and tidy with some fairly tasteful modernizations. Quite cosy inside (bar the cold, unfortunately) with exposed stone walls, red curtains, wall inlays and black beams adorned with pump clips. Lively and busy on our early evening visit. Three ales on; Tavy Best, Tintagel Cornwall's Pride and Lymestone Ein Stein plus five box ciders. Quick and friendly service at the bar, and our two ales were in great shape. I really enjoyed our 15 minutes here and the locals should count their blessings that they have this pub. 8.5 - would have been a 9 if it was warmer.
