Old Ticket Office, Cambridge

Station pubs can be a pile it high, sell it expensive, you're not going to be here long kind of place, and there is some level of that here, but with the amount of redevelopment around Cambridge Station, there's a local market to serve, some of whom are exceeding my short stay. The Old Ticket Office does some stock interesting ales, such as my Nene Valley Egyptian Cream (£2.85/half), which makes it worth a look in if you've arrived too early for your train home.

A half decent pub smartly turned out inside with five handpumps and a range of premium lager on keg along with some corporate craft. I only had time for a quick half of Oakham Citra before making a dash for my train, It's convenient for that sort of thing but worth at least a half hour stay if you have the time.
