A recently converted micropub with bare brick walls, scaffold built bottle shelves, light wood floors and a right on trend line in industrial furniture and lighting. It's clearly been well thought out and executed and I liked it as do the citizens of Tring if our early Wednesday evening visit was anything to go by with a mixed clientele including regulars, families and ladies on the gin. There are 10 pumps on the back wall with beers listed on a blackboard above. Unfortunately the listings don't include the brewery although this was forthcoming on asking the friendly governor. Breweries represented included Gypsy Hill, Bad Co, King Street and Northern Monk with all offerings being keg and only one over 5%. As always with keg things don't come cheap but £4.50 to £5.50 per pint isn't as eye watering as many. There's also a wide selection of gins. Tring's first micropub and worth a look in for a swifty.
