Paramo Lounge, Solihull

Not sure if the demographic changes in the evening but on an early week lunchtime most people in here were using the Paramo Lounge Cafe Bar for the Cafe bit and those that were not eating were drinking coffee. But as it stays open till midnight I can imagine the cocktails and keg taps get utilised when the kitchen shuts. Fizz taps with usual continental lagers, but also BrewDog Punk IPA and one from Goose Island. Sadly no Bristol Beer Factory on draft for my visit but they did have the milk stout in bottles, which went very well with my burger. Won’t rate this one as we used it as a restaurant and no idea how it functions more as a bar in the evening.

Usual Loungers outlet, with a mix of furniture and decor in different styles in an elongated and slightly split-level rectangular space. A couple of small tables can also be found out on the pavement. No real ale, of course, and just the usual selection of keg beers such as Dark Side from Bath Ales and the 'house' (Bristol Beer Factory) Cruiser pale ale (£4.05).
