This bar is vast and occupies the ground floor of a modern office building.You enter at one corner and the immediate effect is industrial with metal staircasing,industrial hard floor,ducting and exposed pipework.The soundtrack is heavy metal and large neon signs illuminate the interior. There is an unusual wooden seating steps arrangement ,then a series of seating booths,with some high tables in the middle.Beyond the long bar is more bench seating before an end section containing 4 shuffle tables taking up a lot of room. Brewing takes place on the premises and the steel vessels are near the front door. Tables can be reserved but with the time noted,so I just grabbed table 105 until Jake and party pitched up at 18.30pm on my Wednesday after work visit.I'm surpised other punters dont employ this trick rather than vertical drinking whilst tables stood empty . There are 33 wall mounted taps,with on my trip 4 brewed on site which included 99 Problems 8.5% £5 the half,which didn't drink it's strength which is clever on it's own.There were another 17 Brew Dog beer option,some mainstream others novel while a further 10 guest beers and sparkling ciders are offered.As always prices are high but so too are ABV's ,so it must be possible to find something you like ,even if there is no real ale. Food is popular from the burger and pizza offering,although there are veggie and vegan options. Mainly attracting a younger client base,the few old farts dotted around were enjoying the vibrant atmosphere but it's no place for a quiet pint.

This enormous bar near the Tower of London is Brewdog’s foray into the world of the ‘90’s style drinking barn venue. The pub occupies a vast space with an open plan layout centred around a large bar area that has been positioned midway between two big seating sections. The room has a mix of smart floorboards and Brewdog’s more renowned industrial-style concrete flooring, with large windows along the front wall allowing plenty of light in and the utilities all visible as they criss-cross the ceiling. The space to the right of the bar is an open plan seating area with plenty of bench and high stool seating as well as some padded banquettes along the front wall. At the far-right end there is quite a sizable small-batch brew plant and four of the beers made on-site were available at the bar. As with most Brewdog bars, daft neon slogan signage was evident in larger than usual quantities, offset by some nice low-wattage lighting in the rest of the space. The area past the left-hand end of the bar runs a lot further than the right side, but is notably shallower, with enough room for banquette booths to the front and rear, some benches through the centre and just about enough passing room in between. Each booth has thoughtfully been kitted out with sockets for charging devices, which I suspect helps them snare a few office workers from the local vicinity. As you continue moving left, you reach an area opposite the open kitchen, filled with tables and benches under a large graffiti mural and next to the passage to the toilets. Beyond this, a raised area is home to three shuffle boards, all being used by enthusiastic punters on this very busy early evening visit. A pinball machine could be seen in the vary far corner next to a Brewdog vending machine and there is also some limited seating in this space for those not playing. Loud music played throughout my stay, but this was comfortably drowned out by a massive and extremely noisy post-work crowd. The usual cinema-style boards on the bar back listed 16 Brewdog beers, including the four from their own in-house brew plant, plus 11 guest kegs and one cider. I tried a half of the Punk IPA, priced at a shocking £6.20 a pint. This was served to me in a very unusual-shaped glass and I am still not sure that I was actually given half a pint or whether I had in fact received a third instead. Unfortunately, I only noticed this when I was most way through the beer, so keep an eye on this, as the glassware wasn’t marked to indicate the volume contained. If you ignore the brew plant and beer board, it’s easy to believe you’re drinking in a Walkabout, Yates or Tiger Tiger, such is the scale of this place and the commitment to recreating the sort of drinking venue we all thought had thankfully fallen out of fashion. Generally speaking, I don’t mind drinking in Brewdog bars, but this one wasn’t my cup of tea at all and would only really be worth checking out if you wanted to sample one of their in-house creations.

Definitely their largest outlet in the country. We entered the pub at the corner entrance, where you walk down an industrial steel staircase into the main area, consisting of the bar and a bottle shop over on the right hand side. The pub was busy as to be expected, but not to capacity on our Friday afternoon visit. All the booths along the front windows were taken and all the bench seating outside was also full. Still we managed to get some seating at the far end of the pub. I went for the Elvis Juice which is still a favourite of mine.
