Sanctuary Tap, Liverpool

A former building society this is now a small pub and is not to be confused with the Sanctuary bar on Lime St. The interior is all bare brick and wooden floored and its a single thin room that stretches back. The bar is as you enter. Two handpumps on the bar plus 3 taps for crafty like beers. All draught beers were from Hawkshead, so I guess they have something to do with place. The two handpulls were Windermere Pale and Lakeland Gold. Its also phenomenally expensive. The real ale will set you back at least £4.20. Bottled beers, cocktails, spirits and coffee also available. Its quite nice inside but the rip off prices make this a once only visit.
