The Norseman, Liverpool

I called in at 5pm on a Saturday night. It was full of families eating. I was the only drinker at the bar. As previous review, the two handpumps on the bar had vanished. I asked the barman what had happened to them and was told, "They were a nightmare, they had to be cleaned out once a week!" I don't think the cask would have been on good form in here. OK as a family restaurant but, like Al, I am unlikely to return for a drink.

A bar & grill. Mainly for eating but drinkers welcome around the bar area or the large outdoor area. Two handpumps on the bar.
