London Beer Lab Tap, Brixton, SW9

Made the trek here and for a couple of other of the taprooms in the area I have not previously visited. This one, as noted below, is pretty small but they do pack a lot in! The bar is on the back wall a few paces only from the front entrance. The almost overwhelming beer menu is on the wall above the bar (helpfully now printed rather than a chalkboard alluded to below). I had a pint of their own brewed QED (or Quite Easily Drunk) a session pale ale at a healthy 4.0% abv. About a third of the 30 beers listed are their own brews with many guests from a variety of craft brewers. I only spotted one German beer but apparently they usually have a few on. Seating is via densely backed trestle tables and benches - probably seating about 30 downstairs plus a bunch of tall metal stools along the ledge along the left hand side of the venue. There are a few tall beer fridges along the right hand wall and they have their own branded T-shirts and sweatshirts available to buy also. There are a small number of tables and chairs out the front in the yard and some seating upstairs but I didn’t venture up for a gander. Pretty atmospheric venue with a very pleasant and knowledgeable guy behind the bar. One of the best of the type I would be happy to opine!

Yet another railway arch taproom, this one with a vast range of beers, 28 from a possible 30 taps on my visit, covering most imaginable craft beer styles. It's certainly one for the beer tickers as well as the general beer fan.

One of the many craft beer set-ups under London's innumerable railway arches. although this one has partially outgrown these premises with the beer now brewed elsewhere in SW9. However, brewing sessions are still offered here, and there is a 14-line tap room with the seating area located upstairs. We found five or their own regular beers, four experimental brews, two collaborations and three guests, all in a wide range of styles. NB - Card only.
