Foundry, Canterbury

As described below, this is a brewpub which serves restaurant-style food and holds entertainment events. There is a single large bar and a larger function room, meaning it feels more like an events venue than a pub. Food is modern and reasonably priced. Ales though are very expensive but in good condition and enjoyable. In addition to a large range of ales they produce and sell their own gin in multiple flavours. It’s nice to come in for a beer and a meal, and I’d include in a crawl.

A good range of cask and keg from the brewery (I counted 13). Good choice of food and friendly and welcoming serving staff.
