Jolly Tap, Barnsley

The Arcade Alehouse is situated towards the bottom end of the arcade that it is in. Once inside there is a small square shaped room with a small bar to the rear right,the floor looked like wood laminate,the seating is bench type to the front with small stools and tables and small stools,there is a drinking shelf on the left side,there is a similar shaped room upstairs which has pew seats and small stools,both rooms were very busy. There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar and all priced at £2.70 a pint,i had a drink of Two Roses Heron Porter which went down a treat,the other beers noted were Bradfield Farmers Belguim Blue,Isca Staggering Santa,Geeves Naughty Elf,Cottage Night train and Jolly Sailor Jolly Blonde. This is a good addition to Barnsley's drinking scene. Pub visited 30/12/2016
