The World Bar, NEC, Birmingham

The World Bar has a serving counter up the right that faces high tables that are overlooked by a television that was airing muted Sky Sports while background music played. Premium keg and three offerings from Camden Brewery were available from the polite staff. I didn’t see anything here that will have me rushing back, although the rear was closed off for refurbishment so maybe I’ll pop back in for another look once the works have finished.

Acceptable modern bar on the outside of Resorts World with light airy feel and a nice outdoor patio. As stated in earlier reviews offers a large range of bottled 'craft' beers and three handpumps, which typically feature Landlord, a Purity brew, and a guest, which was Proper Job at time of visit and in good condition. Prices on the high side, but may operate a 'happy hour' between 5 and 7 if not busy. Handy source of NEC real ale when the 'Spoons is shut.
