Tap & Growler, Nottingham

Yet another Eastwood micro-pub, but this one is near the Pick & Davy at the east end of the town. Inside, it has an impressive display of of casks, kegs, bottles and cans in a cool cabinet just beyond the compact bar counter, but the real ale is dispensed by handpump. With four of five of these in use, I went for the Hollow Stone pale ale (£3.00), but the other three offered a range of beers in different styles.

Small room with the bar to the left. Barrels, cider and cans in fridge on the rear wall. Can't remember how many hand pumps there were. Got talking to a couple who also amuse themselves by going to new pubs.
