Lion Hotel, Shrewsbury

Very grand interior with various rooms to sit. Though it is basically a hotel bar it is quite pleasant to sit in. Ha a nice roaring fire with what seemed to be a whole tree stump burning away.

Large 16th century coaching inn now an upmarket hotel with 3 bars , the Oak Bar to the front of the hotel is now open to non resident , range of real ales available .
