Old Thatched Inn, Newton Abbot

The building was severely damaged by fire on 6th July 2008 and which has been the subject of much wrangling as to its future as it was a listed building. There are numerous websites showing various council minutes and it appears that it has now been demolished having been de-listed by English Heritage. My picture posted today was taken way back in 1984 showing it in its former glory.
