Small traditional tenement bar with a fine heritage interior. Etched glazing in the front windows and doorway (with coloured Art Deco glass above), the counter along the right-hand side with a splendid bar-back behind, and mostly bench seating with narrow drinks tables opposite plus standard tables in each corner. No cask ale sadly, and a fairly ordinary keg selection - e.g. my Belhaven Best (£4.20) - plus a few more interesting bottles.
