Gay Gordon, Middleton, Manchester

The Gay Gordon was an estate pub that was situated close to the langley tower blocks. Once inside the pub had the usuall two room layout with a smartish lounge and a more basic bar,i had a drink in the bar and this had a bit of a rough edge to it. The pub was a Tetley tied house and there were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Tetley bitter which was a pretty poor drink. Sadly this pub has been pulled down along with the tower blocks which stood behind the pub. Yet another langley estate pub to bite the dust. Pub visited 7/8/1997
