The Old Dog, Denton, Manchester

The Old Dog was an end of terrace pub that was situated in the haughton green area of Denton. Once inside the pub had two decent sized rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent room to have a drink in. The pub was a Whitbread tied house when i went in it and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Whitbread Chesters mild which was a nice drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter. This was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in and it is a shame that it has now closed down. Pub visited 6/4/1996
