Old House at Home, Lower Kersal, Salford

The Old House at Home was a nice looking pub that was stood on its own,the pub was situated fairly close to the river Irwell in the lower kersal area of Salford. Once inside the pub had a drinking corridor and rooms off it,i had a drink in the main bar and this was a nice room to have a drink in. The pub was a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink the other beer was Holts mild. This pub is still standing but Holts brewery have sold it off,the pub is now boarded up awaiting its fate. Pub visited 29/12/1990
