Sawyers Arms, Nottingham

The Sawyers Arms was a largish pub that was situated just outside the main entrance to the broadmarsh centre. Once inside there was a very large room that went back quite a bit,the room was carpeted and was fairly comfortable. The pub was a Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar with the Home bitter beng a decent drink the other beer was Home mild. Sadly this pub closed down late in 1987 and was turned into shops. Yet another Notingham pub gone forever. Pub first visited 1981 Photo taken November 1987
