Steelworks Tavern, Manchester

The Steelworks Tavern is a proper old looking pub that is situated in an industrial area on gorton lane. The corner door was not in use so the only entrance was at the side of the pub on preston street,once inside the pub was very basic with a couple of rooms i had a drink in the bar which was very basic and also empty on my Friday dinner visit. The pub was a Bass tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Worthington bitter this was on handpump and it was a decent drink. This pub is still standing and i think still open. Pub visited 9/12/1994
