Y Castell / The Castle, Bangor

The Castle consists of a long narrow room with the bar along the right after the entrance. There are some tiles along the bar counter then a wooden floor with a carpeted area along the windows. The TV screens were silent and I also noticed a projector screen but a music track was playing. The tables had menus with Wetherspoon inspired food offers. There were a few others in on my Monday afternoon visit. Although there are four hand pumps only Brain's SA and Doom Bore were available. The SA (£2.30) was in good nick and good value despite being a rather boring drink. This place may be one of the better options in Bangor.
