The Tilly Shilling (JD Wetherspoon), Farnborough

A fairly modern and small Spoons this. Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon visit, not much seating available. However toilets are downstairs which are a plus in here, as it's only one floor. A pretty bog standard Spoons.

A functional, very ordinary 'Spoons as described by others, below. It was quite calm and orderly when we visited, a reasonable bunch of clients, while the staff were mostly friendly and efficient. Ales on were Adnam's Broadside, Duck's Folly, Hoppit and New Wave from Lodden, Titanic Black Ice, Abbott, Doombar and Ruddles. A bog standard JDW with bog standard bogs.

A large rectangular Spoons occupying the ground floor of a modern building, which has possibly had a facelift as it seems reasonably smart. Light oak panelling makes it less oppressive than it might be and the decorations are, unsurprisingly, aviation-themed. The standard beer range was difficult to determine as the festival was on but the place seemed quite acceptable for what it is.
