The Drunken Duck, Gloucester

Excellent micro. Very small downstairs. I popped upstairs for go on the Pacman! Most people were outside as there was a singer on. % beers on, I had an excellent pint from Vocation. Well worth a visit.

Side street micro, GBG listed. Space for 15 max downstairs, a proper local's vibe. There’s a room upstairs with pool, darts and free-to-play arcade machines - Streetfighter, Pac Man and Paperboy (incorrectly marked as Tekken II). Four pumps, Cloudwater heavy on my visit; the Piccadilly Porter was good (NBSS 3.5) and I spotted cheese and onion rolls for 2 quid which always gets my vote. Friendly atmosphere, a shame there wasn’t space for us downstairs as the upstairs was empty and I felt a bit cut-off from proceedings. Be careful to time your visit for a quieter part of the day. 7.5

Very small bar tucked down a lane didn’t visit the upstairs area. 4 real ales and a good bottle and can selection.
