Red Lion, Moreton-In-Marsh

The Red Lion is in the small village of Little Compton that is just off the main A44. This is a cotswold stone built pub and the main entrance is at the side of the pub,once inside there were two rooms the lounge was to the left and this looked quite a nice comfortable and cosy room but all the tables in here had reserved signs on them so we went in the bar which was a bit more basic and also had a pool table in it. This is a Donnington tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Donnington BB and this was quite a nice drink. There is a largish garden at what looks like the back of the pub and this looked very well kept. This is mainly a pub for people having meals but the bar was for drinkers so we were happy enough having a drink in here.
