The Swan Inn, High Peak

A well-presented food-led village pub, or contry inn with letting rooms. It's at the side of the road at the bottom of the hill just north of the village, with a reasonably sized car park in front opposite a gardening centre. There's a small outdoor seating area, then once inside there's lots of wood and copper and some nicely chosen pictures, tiles and artefacts. There were three hand pumps on the bar, with Acorn Gold, Marble Pint and Woodforde's Wherry. I went for the last named, which was pretty good (NBSS 3.5). Date of visit: 17th September 2022
